Chapter 3 : UK Temptation
While I was still studying German language, one best friend of mine, who had finished his master degree in UK, came back to Indonesia. It was in the middle of August 2009. At that moment, I’m still convinced of my first plan, to pursue my Master degree in Germany. However, he gave me a different perspective about taking a Master degree in the UK.
When he went back to the UK on early September 2009, I started looking for information about Master degree in the UK. On the other hand, I also digging up some information from my compatriot who is studying in Germany right now. I found something interesting about Master degree in the UK. The study period for Taught Postgraduate study in the UK only took 1 year. This means we could save 1 year time, because the study period for Master degree in other countries usually took 2 years to finished it.
After studying carefully some interesting postgraduate program, I found another surprising fact. Some universities in the UK offer a special postgraduate program. This program called SAP University Alliances. The benefit that we can gain from this program is the additional modules which are using SAP technology. Even, there is one university which offered a fully covered SAP modules for their postgraduate program. Right from this point, my mind had changed immediately. I considered to include UK as one of my study destination, along with Germany.
